Summary/Abstract: The didactic exercise is a complex situation, in which the accumulated previous knowledge is always put to the test of facts, being necessarily contextualized in accordance with the realities that emerge in the educational process. Highlighting the constructivist model and the influence of sociocognitive psychology in the procedural redefinition of learning, is a model that can revolutionize the components of the didactic, teaching-learning path in school. Starting from these suggestions, the teacher is faced with a great challenge, to redefine the entire didactic activity with elements regarding empathy and its role in the act of communication, as well as a sociocognitive model of motivation in a school context. The training of the empathetic capacity of teaching staff is continuous, systematized and directed and is based on the valorization and development of the characteristics of empathy related to the evaluation criteria of the communication relationship in the teaching process.
