Summary/Abstract: The paper offers an explanation of the disagreements and contradictions of the views of third-year students in the Republic of Serbia. The author places the research results in the context of related political ideologies and economic theories and concludes that young people express a desire for opposite tendencies to those postulated by the system, but do not reject the symbolism of the system reflected through liberal democracy and capitalism.
