Summary/Abstract: The paper examines the political culture of students in Serbia. The values of young intellectuals are interpreted from the point of view of Inglehart's theory of the post-materialist revolution. The results of the research shed light on this theory from a different angle and require a modification of Inglehart's original materialism - postmaterialism scale. In the study, it will be seen what attitude students have towards the current political system in the country, towards democratic principles, the EU, but also a number of significant social issues, such as gender equality and minorities.
