Summary/Abstract: The text is about the research of the Center for Religious Studies, which implicitly contains the problem of postsecularity. The problem is actually the dilemma of whether post-secular means transformation, or the continuation of secular neglect of the beyond and the transcendent sense of spirituality. The meaning of the term "religion" is also considered, the origin of which is the human spiritual need to understand the telos of existence, which seeks meaning only on "this side". However, given the zeitgeist of the dominant modernization, which overlooks the concept of the other side, the institution of religion becomes obsolete, especially when it itself loses the spiritual connection with the "other side". Despite this, it is shown that the idea of spirituality is important and that the crisis of material goods and the need for a sustainable organization of the environment brings us back to non-material values. Thus, spirituality ceases to be considered a part of religion, or its alternative - spiritual can also be a way of looking at the world and human The possibility of confirming these assumptions is, however, only partially given that in this research no explicit questions were asked.
