Summary/Abstract: This article analyses the role of the digital in ethnographic research on North Vietnamese immigration to the Czech Republic. We use fieldwork in the post-socialist bazaar of Sapa, located in the suburbs of Prague, to understand the market, family and religious structures that govern this market. The study allows us to understand how digital technology shapes social relations within the Vietnamese diaspora.
