Summary/Abstract: The phenomenon of literary postmodernity is characterised by its ability to astonish through a unique and imaginative lens of interpretation. This approach embraces and incorporates an interdisciplinary framework of critical concepts and trends, hence enriching the overall interpretative framework. The exploration of various literary components becomes essential when considering the fundamental relationship between fiction and reality. Of particular importance are the characters, their intrinsic human nature, and the outstanding emotional complexity they possess. In the realm of narrative fiction, characters serve as intermediaries, bridging the gap between superficial appearances and underlying essence, between physical actions and inherent, instinctive categorizations, as well as between emotional or spiritual musings and genuine sentiments. Thus, the study of postmodern literature contributes to the sustainable evolution of humanity.
