Summary/Abstract: In addition to the criminal law provisions contained in the Code of Criminal and Misdemeanor Sanctions, it is important in achieving the purpose of punishment to have effective re-educational treatment that will later result in more effective resocialization. In this regard, penological approaches in reeducational work with convicted persons are very important factors when it comes to the execution of criminal sanctions. The number and variety of treatment techniques used in individual work with convicted persons is large, although somewhat smaller in comparison to the theoretical approaches they reflect. The aim of this work is to point out the connection and symbiosis of criminal law provisions, penological approach and methods used in reeducational work with convicted persons.
