Summary/Abstract: The prefix „cyber” is now often used to describe the activities that take place in the domain of information communication technologies. Terms such as „cyber security”, „cybercrime”, „cyberwar”, „cyberterrorism”, etc. are derived from the term „cyberspace”, so when we talk about the term „cybercrime” then it is meant criminal activities that take place in cyberspace.Today, there are many different definitions pertaining to cyberspace, which in their focus are placed on certain elements in the domain of information communication technologies such as hardware, applications, information and the like. The diversity in defining „cyberspace” leads to difficulties in the conceptual definition of the space itself in which cyber activities take place, and therefore define the fields and domains of activity. In paper, using the method of statistical analysis of data, the data analysis techniques performed extraction of knowledge from the available Internet sources, strategic documents related to the cyberspace and the results of the surveys that were processed in the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences package and a proposal for the definition of the term and classification cyberspace.
