Summary/Abstract: A contemporary security environment includes the constellation of various forms of threats such as an old, new and / or transformed threats, as well as various forms of wars in which are included state and non-state stakeholders. The term 'hybrid war' has imposed as a notion that took over primacy in the discussions of experts in the field of military science and security studies. This concept should provide a theoretical and practical foundation for understanding the synchronized action of various content directed towards a particular vulnerability by causing a nonlinear trace of events. There is debate in the academic community whether it is a new phenomenon of war, a war that has been transformed in some aspects, or an old phenomenon enriched with a new term. This has created a real need for research of this security phenomenon by analyzing the conceptual determination and positioning of this advent among related phenomena, as well as determining the form and characteristics of a hybrid war. A special accent in this work was put on determining the content of the hybrid war.
