Summary/Abstract: The main partners of the water management in the implementation of the Strategy will be the municipal sector, spatial planning, environmental protection, nature protection, agriculture, forestry, energy, tourism, water transport, other economy, science, education and media. In accordance with the provisions of the European Union Water Framework Directive, it is expected that various interested non-governmental organizations will be significantly involved in the implementation of the Strategy. By implementing the Water Management Strategy, the Republic of Croatia, like all other EU Member States, will gradually reach the prescribed standards in water management, which is of great importance for its population and economy.
