Summary/Abstract: The author starts from the thesis of the connection between economy and politics and the significance of energy, especially oil and gas. Then he discusses the change in global players in this relationship and the emergence of new ones such as Russia, China and India. The development of China and India and their expansion depend on finding new energy sources. The author emphasizes the importance of the energy economy and the orientation of energy pipelines, showing the importance of the geopolitical variable. In this context, he also observes the Družba Adria project. The author wants to show the importance of the geopolitics of energy routes and their reflection on the Croatian economy and ecology, and the problem of risk as part of a global risk society. In conclusion, the author believes that the Družba Adria project is "part of a complex international game"...
