Summary/Abstract: The aim is to describe the challenges facing the EU in order to effectively face a series of emerging conflicts and crises. The method used is the critical-analytical approach. After the pandemic and the energy crisis, the global situation is changing drastically, which also highlights the following tasks: to determine the growing geopolitical fragmentation and uncertainty in the region. To trace the geopolitical rivalries and upheavals in the neighboring regions, the deep economic and social inequalities. To discuss the situation with the Ukrainian conflict, which has an impact on European security and stability. The conclusion is that Europe is a crisis center of various conflicts, which puts it in front of the challenges of the new era.
