Summary/Abstract: The quantitative phase of the research project on access to institutions of social support and protection of the population of rural areas of Serbia, with special reference to the specifics of the position of women and girls in rural areas, is confirmatory in nature. This means that the task of the last phase of the research project is to assess the importance of certain findings of the previous research phases on a representative sample. The previous, exploratory and explanatory phases included a desk analysis of the social protection and support system in Serbia, conducted in 2014 and 2015, and qualitative semi-structured in-depth interviews with members of the rural population, as well as with people whose daily work practices include providing support or assistance to people in need.
