Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to present the issue of supervision in the profession of signed language interpreter. The author discusses her personal experiences related to her first supervision session conducted using the “reflective practice” method. Drawing on international studies, she advocates for the adoption of this practice in Poland. Step by step, she guides the reader through various aspects of an interpreter’s work, discusses the Demand-Control Schema, and based on this framework, argues for the significance and effectiveness of supervision as a vital support tool.
