Summary/Abstract: The popularity of online signed language interpreting is growing, and the quality of these interpretations relies on the proper preparation of the studio. This article, written by Polish Sign Language interpreters, draws on their experiences and consultations with fellow interpreters. Key elements of the studio setup include a suitable background, professional lighting, a high-quality camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, and up-to-date software. While setting up a professional studio for online signed language interpretation requires an investment, it can provide interpreters with greater independence and flexibility in accepting assignments.
