Summary/Abstract: This article presents the key aspects of team interpreting Polish Sign Language in academic setting, with particular attention to the practices adopted by the interpreting team at the University of Warsaw. The authors highlight the situation of Deaf students and teaching staff in Poland while providing insight into the specific nature of interpreters’ work. The article provides a detailed description of the interpreting triad: student-lecturer-interpreter, as well as the operational dynamics of the interpreting team. It also addresses strategies to consider prior to interpreting, techniques to apply during the interpreting process, and tools that can be beneficial for post-interpreting reflection. Additionally, the authors discuss technical aspects, such as positioning during interpreting, team dynamics, and solutions implemented for remote interpreting.
