Summary/Abstract: This paper provides an overview of the most important sources for studying the Yugoslav wars of the 1990s. The most important collection of sources is undoubtedly court archives, especially the ICTY archive, which contains tens of thousands of documents, photographs, maps, videos and material evidence. Reports of international and domestic organizations and institutions are also presented, particularly valuable for the study of war crimes and other forms of wartime violence. As a particularly interesting and useful source, the media, textbooks and other sources are presented, from which much useful information important for this topic can also be extracted. At the end, the specifics of memoir material and oral history when used as historiographical sources were also analysed.
