Summary/Abstract: This article explores the critical role of project management principles in optimizing defense resource management. As defense sectors face growing complexity, both in scale and technological demands, the integration of structured project management frameworks becomes increasingly essential. The study traces the evolution of project management within defense, highlighting how modern methodologies such as Agile and low-code/no-code technologies are reshaping traditional processes. By addressing common challenges such as budget constraints, risk mitigation, and resource allocation inefficiencies, the article underscores the significance of a project-based approach. The findings demonstrate that embracing project management tools not only improves operational efficiency but also ensures strategic alignment with long-term defense objectives, ultimately enhancing decision-making and overall project success.
