Summary/Abstract: Under the auspices of hybrid threats and conflicts, in this article I set out to answer the following questions: Is it appropriate to develop and deploy IoBT in the military domain? What are the challenges of deploying IoBT in an area of responsibility in the context of hybrid warfare? Studying the literature, research and testing IoBT in other militaries helped me answer the above questions. The development of emerging concepts such as IoBT (Internet of Battlefield Things) helps us to be visionary and anticipate the evolution of communications and information systems on the battlefield.
