Summary/Abstract: This article examines, from an objective and current perspective the role of the International Criminal Court in today's geopolitics, in a world dominated by armed conflicts that threaten to expand.I have also analyzed the positioning of important states vis-à-vis the Court's jurisdiction, as well as the Court's involvement in the investigation of important leaders of our time.
