Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the biography of the Yugoslav communist Emiljan Milan Kalafatić – a participant in the war in Spain in 1936–39. and World War II in France. His transnational life path is presented, from the time he left Yugoslavia and moved to France in 1925, until his death in Odessa in 1996.
