Summary/Abstract: The quality standard should be perceived as a framework that describes what the quality education offered by the institution should look like in order to achieve certain results. This standard can be considered in the following four directions: Firstly, as knowledge, skills and attitudes to be achieved by students; Second, providing tools to acquire relevant knowledge, skills and experience; Third, as a measure of the outcomes of the education provided; Fourth, as a system of guidelines for the appearance of successful teaching. In this regard, the quality standard should not be perceived as a strict administrative document, but rather as a detailed vision and guidelines that should lay the foundations of the educational system at the university. In the context of the problems presented in this way, it can be noted that the main goal of the present work is connected with the creation of a foundation based on the theoretical arguments for the essence of the quality of education and on it to carry out an empirical study of the opinions and attitudes of the students of the 1st year, "Marketing" specialty, regarding the quality of the training provided by the exercise assistants.
