Summary/Abstract: The international economic relations, with their intrinsic complexity, require comprehensive research, which can fulfil the potential of available opportunities and offer solutions to different cross-border challenges. This paper relates to one of the aspects in the debate about the internationalization of university education and the development of human capital. The experience of lecturers is reviewed. Three levels in the academic hierarchy are studied. Several key parameters are compared for each of them. The results of this research can be thought-provoking for the representatives of various academic positions, who are interested in the recommendations and requirements for qualitative and quantitative criteria related to the periodic evaluation of lecturers.
