Summary/Abstract: This paper views the role of Social and Solidarity Economy entities in accelerating the Circular Economy and how they can be seen as pivotal. They already engage in these principles and can thus be seen as pivotal productive assets. By fostering synergies between SSE entities and traditional companies, supported by local government policies, we may upscale and increase the role of SSE entities in the CE. This may be achieved by establishing a collaborative platform that not only features the companies but also institutions and the local government, to foster knowledge transfer and enable efficient financial resource allocation. The platform and streamlined supply chain is able to create value and advantages for both the SSE entities as well as the traditional companies. Through continuous collaboration, knowledge sharing, and strategic policy support, SSE entities and traditional companies can jointly contribute to a sustainable and inclusive future for Toulouse, driving progress towards environmental sustainability and social equity, following EU policy principles on the just transition.
