This paper explores the role of digital competence in fostering digital transformation, emphasizing its importance for job creation, social progress, and overcoming global challenges such as unemployment and inequality. A linear regression model is used to analyze the relationship between digital skills and digital competitiveness in EU countries, providing insights into effective policy directions.
