Summary/Abstract: The focus of this article is the landscape of Nikolay Raynov, strongly present in both his visual and literary work. Both have the same metaphysical character. The approach to its justification is Raynov’s theosophical interpretation of nature, as taken from two of his manuscripts. This paper examines how pictorial and verbal text (artistic or theoretical) can illustrate and interpret one another
