Summary/Abstract: The need for an interdisciplinary network in the process of finding biological families among internationally adopted youth is essential to ensure complex and coordinated support. Such a network brings together specialists from various fields, such as psychologists, social workers, lawyers and counselors, who can offer adoptees the necessary support from multiple perspectives. The collaboration between these professions contributes to the effective management of emotions, legal aspects and social challenges that may arise during the search for biological families. According to, Monica Lanyado, from British Association of Psychotherapists, London, the emotional burdens of the transition from adoption to adoption: transitions, attachment, separation and loss, make us look towards Attachment Theory, which highlights that the child is expected to form a new attachment to by the adoptive family, while often in the grip of grieving the loss of the adoptive family. In this context, to make a brief presentation of the international adoption procedure and to highlight the psychodynamics of the professional network around the child is discussed.
