Summary/Abstract: The problem of juvenile delinquency is the subject of interest of numerous scientific disciplines that focus on children, education, deviations in society, etc. We look for the causes of juvenile delinquency in numerous endogenous and exogenous criminogenic factors. In our work, we will deal with the family, i.e. its dysfunctionality, which often represents a risk factor for the development of this deviant phenomenon in young people. The family can be a risky protective factor, but its influence on the development of juvenile delinquency depends on its functionality. Through certain tangential research, we will indicate which family factors and circumstances can negatively affect the development of delinquent behavior among young people.
