Summary/Abstract: In the present article the existence of a relationship between workplace wellbeing and employees‘ propensity to take on additional responsibilities is highlighted. Research is based on data from the 10th round of the European Social Survey for ten European countries - Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Finland, France, Lithuania, Estonia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary. The results of the research show that when wellbeing at work increases, so does the propensity to take on additional responsibilities without being paid extra for it.
