Summary/Abstract: The study presents the research findings about psychometrical properties (reliability and construct validity estimate) of Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire for Adolescence Short Form (TEIQue-ASF) created by K.V. Petrides (2001). The research sample was 164 high school students with an average age of 16.32 (SD=1.03). Reliability estimate of Cronbach’s alpha and Spearman- Brown’s coefficient reached the acceptable level for a whole tool (α=0.88; rxx≥0.80). By validizing tools (TIPI, Gosling, 2003; RŠS, Rosenberg, 1965; SEHP, Džuka & Dalbert, 2002; GSES, Schwarzer & Jerusalem, 1993), TEIQue-ASF construct (convergent- discriminant) validity.
