Summary/Abstract: The paper is aimed at mapping out the training needs of employees of separate budget public organization, which dedicate primarily targeted use of funds to ensure consistent control meaningfulness of activities funded by the citizens of the Slovak Republic. Questionnaires for further education was electronically administered a sample of 91 employees. Respondents reported an estimate of the level of their knowledge and skills and to reflect the level of interest in further education in nine selected areas. Project managers reported significantly higher levels of knowledge and skills in 5 study areas in comparison with other employees. The linear regression model for the average assessment rate of interest in continuing education, taking into account only the departments in which they work, project managers, were found significant relationships only in two areas, law and public procurement.
