Summary/Abstract: Internet is becoming a common communication channel. Without it, you often cannot imagine normal life. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate the use and adaptation to ordinary users as well as in tourism. Web is a tool for penetration, process, search and store information about tourism. The paper can make a contribution to a better understanding of how different types of Web sites affect consumption in tourism. The paper describes the research of modern technologies in the retail industry and their application, which also examines the modern technologies in tourism. Focus is on the website as a tool of marketing communication entities that are charged with the development of tourism in the destination. The research objective of this paper is to determine what are the typical features of websites these entities. To identify of such variables were used content analysis of websites of entities engaged in the development of tourism in the Czech destinations. The result is, among other things, the breakdown of websites focused on informative and commercially oriented. Descriptive analysis shows how the current practices used targeting tourism participant.
