Summary/Abstract: The research is focused on comparison of the prosodic characteristics of simple sentences (positive statements) in Bulgarian. The main goal is to compare the prosodic features of positive statements focusing on the prosodic grouping. The experimental protocol consists of processing the sentences, gathered in a corpus for the aims of the project “Rhythm and Intonation in Bulgarian Sentences” (МУ21-ФлФ-013) with Speech Anlyzer 3.1 and analysis of their melodic graphs and spectrograms with focus on the prosodic grouping of the phrases.
