Summary/Abstract: The promotion of emotional and social education must target any age, following the principle of lifelong learning, as it is never too late to become aware of our own emotions and feelings (becoming capable of self-control), as well as those around us. The major goal of socio-emotional education through its principles and objectives is to aim at the integral development of the child's personality, to make him socially responsible, to form a correct social culture, skills of integration / social inclusion. The development of social behaviours from an early age is very important and is an integration of theories on social intelligence. The emotions and feelings of the pre-schooler accompany all its manifestations, whether it is games, songs, educational activities or the fulfilment of tasks received from adults. They occupy an important place in the child's life and exert a strong influence on his behavior. School, from this perspective, is a common form of life in which are concentrated the most effective agents who will make the child adhere to the inherited values of humanity and use their own forces for social purposes. In short, the school must become a specific form of the active life of the community, instead of being an isolated space where lessons are learned.
