Summary/Abstract: How can one write academically about an event that is still unfolding? This edited volume emerged precisely from that challenge. Its chapters were written alongside the student- and citizen-led protests that took place during the summer and autumn of 2025, in an effort to document, understand, and interpret social change as it was happening. Bringing together different generations of scholars and diverse research perspectives, the volume is united by a shared ambition: to examine the student movement not only as an object of academic inquiry, but also as a significant social moment that raises new questions about democracy, solidarity, and political action.
