Summary/Abstract: The book describes the impact of the process of European integration on Macedonian national identity, related to the position of neighbouring countries, by presenting complex Macedonian-Greek and Macedonian-Bulgarian relations. The author described the results of his research on Macedonian national identity conducted from 2016 to 2018. He also presented the analysis of documents and international agreements with Greece and Bulgaria and characterized opportunities and threats regarding the European integration process and its influence on Macedonian identity from the perspective of the future membership of the country in the European Union.
