Summary/Abstract: This publication presents key findings from the research conducted by SEESAC in collaboration with the Victimology Society of Serbia, covering six jurisdictions in the Western Balkans: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia. Carried out between May and September 2024, the research focuses on a critical, yet underexplored area: support services for victims of armed violence outside of an armed conflict context. This represents the first attempt to gain insights into the main characteristics of such services in the Western Balkans region.
