Summary/Abstract: The South Eastern and Eastern Europe Clearinghouse for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons (SEESAC) operates as a joint initiative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC). It was established to assist the governments in the region in addressing the challenges posed by post-conflict proliferation of small arms and light weapons to peacebuilding and long-term economic and social development.
