Summary/Abstract: The Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Serbia presented the annual report for 2023 - "Serbia: geopolitical and value determination" at the conference in the Media Center. The report was created as part of the "Cooperation in the Western Balkans region: a prerequisite for European security" project, with the support of the European Union. This year's report builds on the previous one, which aims to focus on specific topics that the Helsinki Committee considers crucial for social transformation and acceptance of values that contribute to democratic principles. Addressing challenges such as radical nationalism, captive institutions and media, ethno-confessional culture and education, and revisionism - this ongoing process requires a continuous and joint effort from all segments of society. The overarching question that arises is: What is our identity and in what direction are we going?
