Summary/Abstract: The states mentioned in the title, which are geographically located directly within Germany's sphere of influence, should be of great economic interest to Germany, especially since they are in full upward development and—as before—there is a danger that Germany's natural pre-eminence in economic relations with these states will be threatened by other powers. Within the framework of this purely economic treatise, there is little space to discuss the historical development of these states in detail; however, the most important historical events necessary for understanding are briefly outlined before each country report.
