Summary/Abstract: Inequality and unemployment are the biggest challenges facing the world today. The phenomenon of income distribution, long neglected as irrelevant for economic efficiency, became an inevitable preoccupation of economic theory, and then of economic policymakers. In recent decades, the entire increase in income has gone only to a narrow layer of the rich at the top of the pyramid, while everyone else has been excluded from that distribution. The global economic crisis also gave impetus to the great increase in the interest of modern research in issues of distribution, that is, economic inequalities, because numerous studies have appeared in which inequalities are identified as one of the key causes of this crisis.
