Summary/Abstract: This text is a response to the scientific, social and political need to study one of the basic human rights today, the freedom of peaceful assembly. Serbia must continue expanding its democratic capacities, expanding the area of freedom, and one of those directions is the freedom of public assembly. They are not, and must not be, the exclusive privilege of only those who represent the views supported by the majority, but rather, a necessary need of marginalized, unpopular minority social groups.
