Summary/Abstract: This work was created out of the need to create a comprehensive overview of current knowledge and interventions for children and adolescents with behavioural disorders, as no similar publication exists in the Czech Republic. Although this is a highly topical and extremely important topic, especially in view of the increasing number of diagnosed behavioural and emotional problems in children, a systematic and comprehensive review focusing on this specific area of the problem is still lacking. This thesis therefore brings a unique perspective to the issue and focuses on linking theory and practice in the field of interventions. Its main aim is to serve as a teaching material for students of Ethiopia who will in the future be involved in education, counselling and therapeutic work with children with behavioural disorders. At the same time, it is intended for practitioners who deal with these issues on a daily basis and are looking for effective ways to help children and their families. The book summarizes the latest research and recommendations for practice that can be useful for both students and practitioners.
