Summary/Abstract: The present publication analyzes the current foreign policy of the United States of America, including future perspectives. The first part deals in general with the process of creating foreign policy in the USA, both its basic ideological sources and the bureaucratic structures that enter into its creation. The limits and restrictions (military, economic, political) that form the framework for its formation are also mentioned. Finally, the role of the media and think tanks in connection with foreign policy is analyzed in more detail.
