Summary/Abstract: Material conditions in the field of energy during Serbia's accession to the European Union are a key determinant of the accession process. They connect the process of accession to the European Union, the improvement of living conditions and the realization of the basic rights of the population. Fulfillment of material conditions in the field of energy shows the willingness and ability of the state administration to act in the public interest. Namely, fulfilling these material conditions as quickly and completely as possible is in the best interest of the majority of the population of Serbia, as well as the population of neighboring countries, some of which are members of the European Union. These conditions should be fulfilled even if they were not foreseen by the process of Serbia's accession to the Union. The text describes the material conditions whose fulfillment has been agreed so far, explains the importance of the fulfillment of these conditions for the accession process and for improving employment and economic development. The fulfillment of material conditions in the field of energy is a measurable category, and the impact of the fulfillment of these conditions on the quality of life and basic human rights can also be measured. The economic and every other future of the population of Serbia depends on the way of fulfilling the contracted material obligations. The text provides overview tables of material obligations and cross-connections between them, as well as appropriate recommendations regarding the fulfillment of these obligations.
