Summary/Abstract: The first round table entitled "Economic relations of Serbia and Kosovo* - Impact on local economies and communities" was held in Leskovac, on December 17, 2013, and aimed to identify the most important problems and obstacles in the trade and economic relations of the local communities of Serbia and Kosovo, as well as to propose measures to improve cooperation and networking of interested parties. As a basis for the discussion, a document was created: Economic aspects of the dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo - trade relations and business cooperation of local communities with a case study of the city of Leskovac, whose authors, Radmila Milivojević, Genc Krasniqi, Bisera Šećeragić and prof. Dr. Predrag Bjelić, analyzed the situation from the point of view of both sides and presented the main recommendations for overcoming the problem. // The second round table was organized in Belgrade, on April 29, 2014, on the topic of cooperation potential and key challenges of the common European perspective of Serbia and Kosovo. For this occasion, an analysis of the state of the European integration of Serbia and Kosovo was prepared, with a special emphasis on the possibilities opened up by the Brussels agreements as well as numerous regional cooperation initiatives in the Western Balkans. The authors of the document, Filip Ejdus, Ph.D., Jelica Minić, Ph.D. and Vjosa Musliu, considered the necessary legislation and reform steps that should contribute to the overall modernization and democratic and economic development of the region and made key recommendations.
