Summary/Abstract: This publication presents the results of work in each local self-government whose institutions were the subject of monitoring, and also presents recommendations for improving the implementation of current legislation. The desire of the European Movement in Serbia and Lawyers for Democracy is that the presented results should be a kind of alarm, but also an instruction for decision makers to improve the work of public institutions in Serbia. At the same time, the results can serve civil society in Serbia as a starting point for developing project ideas that would contribute to the democratization of society and the acceleration of the European integration process. On this occasion, we would like to thank all representatives of civil society organizations, individuals, media, political parties and public institutions who contributed to the implementation of project activities, and especially the National Endowment for Democracy, without which it would not have been possible to implement the project.
