Summary/Abstract: The goal of this paper is to demonstrate that enlargement is feasible by the end of 2025 for the frontrunners, Serbia and Montenegro, and in the foreseeable future for the rest of the WB, if the manner in which it is conducted is altered and adapted to the regional context. The paper proposes actions to be taken for such alterations, summarized in twelve proposals in the conclusion. These proposals will add impetus to the enlargement process and make it easier for the candidates to fulfil the accession criteria while not diluting membership conditions.
