Summary/Abstract: Population aging is one of the defining demographic shifts of our time, reshaping economies, societies, and public policies across the globe. As the share of individuals aged 65 and older continues to rise, the need for innovative, multidisciplinary approaches to the challenges and opportunities of aging has never been more pressing.Silver Economy builds upon the extensive research and insights presented in our previous works - Aging Society: Rethinking and Redesigning Retirement (2020),Strategic Approach to Aging Population: Experience and Challenges (2021), Economics and Aging: Emerging Issues (2022), Aging Population: From Research to Public Policy (2023), and Economics and Business of Aging (2024). These volumes have provided a platform for rich, interdisciplinary discussions, bringing together perspectives from economics, law, sociology, medicine, and beyond. They have examined critical intersections between population aging and economic structures,demographic trends, legal frameworks, financial sustainability, intergenerational transfers, public policies, health, well-being, and community programs.
