Summary/Abstract: This publication presents the outcome of the research “Ethno-political context of sociocultural transformation in contemporary Ukraine” that was fulfilled in 2014-2016 by the members of the Department of Ethno-politics of the I.F. Kuras Institute of Political and Ethnic Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The causes and factors of society’s crises make a context for the analyses of ethno-political aspects of dynamic and substantial shifts in sociocultural transformation in contemporary Ukraine. The suggestions of optimizing major directions and mechanisms of ethno-political and national consolidation of Ukrainian society are elaborated in the study. The publication is addressed to specialists in state management, politicians, scholars who are interested in ethno-politics and political practices.
